I will replace it when RAM release the roller dock model specifically for 7th Gen iPads.

I would suggest -- if using an OtterBox -- that the flexible cover for the charging cord port be removed with an Exacto knife, or something similar, so that the charging cord can be easily inserted to the bottom region of the 9.7' iPad Pro.January 24, 2019Purchased

over 2 years agoReliability4 / 5Performance4 / 5Ease Of Use5 / 5Value4 / 5Samsung TabletsThe overall construction is robust with a suction cup base that securely attaches to a slightly curved section of my windscreen. Ball joints are also very robust. The spring-loaded adjustable height of this cradle works for my Samsung 9.7" Tab-E. However, the width of the top and bottom retainers are about 47mm too wide for a proper fit. If you don't mind a little cut-and-epoxy project it is easy to custom fit the retainers to fit. My newly-modified Tab-Tite now fits the Tab-E perfectly.June 1, 2017Durability5 / 5Reliability5 / 5Performance5 / 5Ease Of Use5 / 5Value4 / 5Holds iPad securelyCould be more width specific as there is no extra room in cockpitAugust 14, 2015Durability5 / 5Reliability5 / 5Performance5 / 5Ease Of Use5 / 5Value5 / 5Pros: great part of the RAM mount system Cons: I had asked customer service if it would also work for my Nexus 10 (because it's advertised for the iPad). Quoting from the replies I got: 'The Ram Spring Loaded Cradle with Yoke Mount (#5044) will be able to fit your Nexus 10 tablet according to the dimensions I have found online.' However, when I put my Nexus 10 in it, the tablet can bounce and shift right and left (up and down), and the power switch can hit the bracket of this mount. It took me a while to figure out what happened, when during the flight suddenly my Nexus 10 powered down and shut off. I finally noticed that this happened after a gust that that moved the tablet to the right, so that the power button hit the cradle bracket. I fixed it by putting aviation safety wire around two of the holes and pig-tailed the two ends, so now the Nexus 10 can't move anymore. So, you can still use it very well with a Nexus 10, but not out-of-the-box. I used aviation safety wire, you may put some other 'blocker' on the cradle (or your Nexus 10). great product from the RAM mount series, but not without problem for a Nexus 10.March 17, 2014

Browse 4 questions Browse 4 questions and 8 answersDoes it allow access to the charging port and side switches? Can't tell from the photos?BEST ANSWER: Yes. The ends are open with two small, probably 1/4", supports. We use it for the mini iPad, cut away one of the supports to access the charging port, and it works just fine. We previously used it with an iPad in its case, but found it blocked too much of the panel. We can still use the iPad on the yoke if the mini dies. Can the mounting ball be removed and the cradle mounted to a flat surface? Can it hold the IPad in both a horizontal or vertical position?BEST ANSWER: Yes, the ball is just screwed on and can be removed easily. Will this fit the iPad Pro 10.5”?BEST ANSWER: Yes it fits the iPad Pro 10.5.Will this back fit with an Otter case?BEST ANSWER: The Ram case will hold the otter box IF the otter box base is not included.
