DC-4 PlaneTag™

The DC-4, built as a successor to the “iconic” DC-3 with 4 radial engines and a much larger fuselage, became the prime “heavy” transport for the U.S. Forces which carried men and material to every theater of WWII. After the war, the DC-4 became the main hero of the Berlin Airlift. Cut from the aluminum skin of a retired DC-4 this PlaneTag will allow you to share the Aviation History of this fine aircraft. Because PlaneTags are made from real aircraft metal, each PlaneTag bears the color, thickness, and wear and tear from the portion of the fuselage from which it was cut and it is therefore rare to create two identical PlaneTags.
