Your EFB (Electronic Flight Bag) is an integral part of your cockpit and routine flying experience. As such, pilots are eager to maximize the efficiency of their workflows within ForeFlight and make sure that they are getting the most out of their subscription.

This course, the first of its kind from ForeFlight, will allow pilots to dive deeply into all of the features and functions of ForeFlight via any internet browser. In so doing, pilots can, with their iPad or iPhone by their side, experiment with and commit to muscle memory the workflows they may use in their day-to-day flying - as well as engage with new features and functions that they may not regularly use but have been interested in trying out.

Learn Safely and Effectively 

INTERACTIVE LEARNING ENVIRONMENT - Each lesson is created by ForeFlight’s expert Customer Education team and designed to mimic the actual function of the ForeFlight app. Using Sporty’s interactive platform these lessons not only demonstrate realistic near-real time workflows, but are done at your own pace and are repeatable as needed.

MASTER ROUTINE WORKFLOWS - Learn all of the different ways ForeFlight can be integrated into your flying in a safe, controlled, and interactive learning environment. 

LEARN NEW FEATURES - Use the Interactive Learning environment to try out new and unfamiliar features to determine if you, as the PIC, want to incorporate these into your flying.

WALKTHROUGH EMERGENCY FEATURES - The Interactive Learning modules can create an environment that walks you through ForeFlight’s emergency features in a controlled environment so that in the unlikely event of an emergency, it's not the first time you’re experiencing and interacting with them.

KEEP UP TO DATE WITH UPDATES - ForeFlight updates frequently and new features and functions are released regularly. Use ForeFlight’s Interactive Learning to stay on top of the latest features and functions.

Built for Pilots by Pilots

All of ForeFlight’s Pilot Proficiency Program offerings are developed by the ForeFlight Customer Education team, all of whom are pilots and educators. They have designed these learning modules to be fully interactive, allowing pilots of all experience levels to progress through these self-paced lessons in a way that closely matches the workflows they will use in their actual flight planning and flying. For each lesson, we encourage users to have their iPads and iPhones handy to practice what is being demonstrated and build that muscle memory more quickly.

What’s Included:

• A fully interactive course curriculum covering all aspects of the ForeFlight app in over 7 hours of content, authored by ForeFlight’s own Customer Education team.

• An official completion certificate to document your learning.

• Constantly updating course content and interactive materials; as ForeFlight updates with new features and capabilities, so will the training content.

• At launch, pilots can expect to find 3 distinct courses that will walk users through the basics of flying with ForeFlight all the way through complex instrument flying and custom route planning. A 3rd course is dedicated entirely to using ForeFlight Logbook for pilots of all experience levels.

• New courses will be added regularly that will include things like using ForeFlight’s web platform and planning with custom content. Stay tuned!
