Featuring detailed graphics from Continental Airlines’ classic 1970s tail scheme.
Hand-crafted from wood, this Continental Airlines Logo Tail Display features detailed graphics that reflect the airline’s classic “Meatball” tail scheme. Created as part of the “Contrails” livery that was introduced in 1968, Continental’s classic golden and red livery was penned by renowned designer and filmmaker Saul Bass. Faithfully replicating the swooping shapes of Boeing and Airbus tails from the same era, each tail has a glossy exterior finish. Attaches to an included stained wooden base with two pegs and rests on four felt feet. Measures 9.5”h x 9”l x 2”w when complete.
