Introduced in 1984, the AH-64 Apache is an advanced, high capability attack helicopter for use in many branches of military.
Featuring advanced targeting systems, powerful engines, and legendary weapons such as the AGM-114K Hellfire missile, the AH-64D is an incredible adversary in any scenario. Adopted by nations across the world with more than 2,500 manufactured, the Apache is continuously in development with an expected service life reaching the 2060s.

History and Specifications:
Put into service during 1986, the advanced AH-64D Apache is one of the most versatile combat aircraft of all time. Featuring a tandem-seating cockpit design and pair of General Electric T700 turboshaft engines, it can reach over 180 mph. On top of the rotors is another crucial component; the “Longbow” radar dish, which has an excellent 360° view from above the aircraft. In conjunction with the laser and radar warning receivers, the AH-64D maintains excellent combat awareness on the battlefield. Assigned to South Carolina Air National Guard for duties in Mosul, Iraq during December of 2004.
