History and Specifications:
Formally introduced as the AH-64E in 2012, the Apache is an advanced, high capability attack helicopter for use in many branches of military. Featuring an integrated thermal imaging system, powerful engines, and legendary weapons such as the AGM-114 “Hellfire” missile, it can swiftly designate and destroy multiple enemy targets in quick succession. Attributing to the aircraft’s incredible weapons system, the key component is the “Longbow” radar dish, which has an excellent 360-degree view from above the main rotors. In conjunction with the laser and radar warning receivers, the AH-64E maintains excellent combat awareness on the battlefield. Powered by a pair of General Electric T700 turboshaft engines, it can reach over 180 mph and up to 20,000 ft of altitude, with 300 miles of combat range
