Air Force One VC-25A Die-Cast Model

As the flagship carrier for the President of the United States, the VC-25A serves as “Air Force One” which is fitted to safely transport important staff of the US Government across the nation. Modified from the popular Boeing 747 jumbo jet, it has a large fuel capacity and range fit to transport VIPs across long distances in high comfort. Customized for Air Force service, capacity has been reduced to just 70 passengers, with a range of over 7,800 miles. Powered by four General Electric CF6-80C2B1 engines which create around 226,000 lbs of combined thrust on takeoff, the aircraft can reach altitudes up to 45,100 ft, with top speeds over 580mph and a maximum weight of 833,000 lbs. Since 1990 there have been two VC-25As in active service, under the registration 28000 and 29000. This Die-Cast version has an accurate Air Force One paint scheme, etched panel lines, pad printed decals, and detailed landing gear for display. Measures 7”l with a 6” wingspan at 1:400 scale.
