History and Specifications:
One of the most efficient airliners of modern day, Boeing's 777-300ER flew for the first time in February of 2003. Boasting jumbo jet payloads and twin-engine reliability in one complete package, the 777-300ER encompassed nearly 50% of the entire type’s sales. Carrying 400 passengers across a typical range of 7,800 miles, the 777-300ER is powered by two very efficient GE90-115B engines. Creating 230,000 lbs of combined thrust on takeoff and decreasing overall fuel consumption, each aircraft has improved sustainability for long-haul flights.
