First helicopter in the world to receive civil certification, the OH-13 Sioux is a single-engine lightweight design which saw extensive use in Korea and Vietnam. Recognizable with its “fish-bowl” cockpit and exterior medical pods, which could carry wounded soldiers on stretchers, it would provide crucial airlift, reconnaissance, and observational capabilities during the following decades. To this day, the prolific Bell design is still operational across the nation, providing a lightweight and stable platform for sightseeing and training. Die-Cast version features a historic livery, printed decals, and authentic surface detailing with a rotating rotors and display stand. Measures 5.5”l with an 6.25” rotor span at 1:72 scale.
