Charles Blondeau Wins Sporty’s Fun Flying Challenge

Summer adventure in a Piper Arrow earns him a ForeFlight Sentry Plus

Sporty’s has announced the winner of its 50 Fun Flying Destinations summer challenge: Charles Blondeau. Charles and a friend spent the summer flying a Piper Arrow from the East Coast to Alaska, with several memorable stops inspired by Sporty’s free Fun Flying Destinations guide and ForeFlight content pack.

His route included favorites like Lloyd Stearman Field (1K1) in Kansas, Centennial (APA) in Denver, Colorado, the Black Hills region via Custer County (CUT) in South Dakota, Wittman Regional (OSH) in Wisconsin for EAA AirVenture, Luray Caverns (LUA) in Virginia, and John C. Tune (JWN) in Nashville, Tennessee.

Charles takes home a ForeFlight Sentry Plus ADS-B Receiver for his winning entry.

The 50 Fun Flying Destinations guide is still available free from Sporty’s as a PDF and a ForeFlight content pack—perfect for planning your next trip right from your EFB.
