Boeing 747 Global Supertanker Model

The well-known and highly successful Boeing 747 has seen a decorated history in its lifetime, with long-distance, high-capacity, and nationwide flights across several decades of service. Many different variants of the jumbo jet have served across the globe, creating new connections that can’t be reached with most aircraft of similar roles. Uniquely though, this version featured is in use as a firefighting aircraft, seeing use as far as Israel in 2016 and fought against the wildfires in Chile in 2017. The jet flies at 160mph, low as 400ft from the ground to successfully combat wildfires, but it can reach over 600mph and get to most places in the US within 5 hours of takeoff. Though the final 747 was produced in early 2023, the type will still be in service for many years to come across the globe, such as with this Global Supertanker. Model version features an accurate paint scheme, etched panel lines, and a simple snap-together assembly. Also includes deployable or closed landing gear and a display stand. Measures 14”l with a 13.5” wingspan at 1:200 scale.
