British Airways 777-300ER W/Flaps Die-Cast Model

One of the most efficient airliners of modern day, Boeing's 777-300ER has an with an extended range of travel and higher capacity for passengers than its rivals. First flying in the mid-1990s and beginning deliveries in 2004, the ER variant has quickly become the staple of the entire line, totaling nearly 50% of all 777s delivered so far.  

Carrying 400 passengers across a typical range of 7,800 miles, the 777-300ER is powered by two very efficient GE90-115B engines. Creating 230,000 lbs of combined thrust on takeoff and decreasing overall fuel consumption, each aircraft has improved sustainabilty for long-haul flights. Reaching up to 43,100 ft, top speed is of 554mph, and maximum weight is 775,000 lbs.

Well recieved by global operators, more than 50% of active 777s are the extended-range 300ER edition. Estimated to have 8-9% lower overall cost than rival jets such as the A340-600, competitor A330 and A340 have been outsold by Boeing's offerings. Selected by British Airways for their comfort and performance, the airline has purchased 16 examples. Die-Cast version has an authentic British Airways paint scheme, etched panel lines, pad printed decals, and detailed landing gear for display. Also features a unique “bowed up” wing replication, showing the wings flexing from its massive weight. Measures 7.5”l with a 6.5”wingspan at 1:400 scale.
