The C-130 Hercules is a medium/long-range versatile combat transport aircraft that is regularly sent on missions in the harshest environments. Extremely versatile and reliable, the Hercules is one of the most widely used transport aircraft by military forces worldwide. With over 1 million hours flying, it has remained in continuous production longer than any other military aircraft. Boasting 2,600 nautical miles of range in low-altitude flight and endurance of up to 14 hours, the Hercules can complete missions that no other aircraft can. Utilizing the internal cargo hold, 92 passengers, 3 Humvees, 64 troops, or 6 pallets of supplies can be stored onboard. Taking off in less than 3,600 ft with a full 42,000 lb. payload, or just 1,400 ft in empty configuration, the aircraft is well fit for hostile regions which often have unprepared runways. Measuring 6”l with an 8” wingspan at 1:200 scale, this die-cast model features an authentic paint scheme, etched panel lines, and pad printed decals.
