Delivered in May of 2009, N75435 entered initial service in 737-900ER specification. Repainted in 2016 with the retro “blue skyways” scheme, the aircraft honors the golden age of Continental Airlines during the 1940s. Featuring red and blue lines across an all-white base, it proudly displays the heritage of decades ago. Acquired by United Airlines as part of their merger with Continental in 2010, the aircraft is still in operation today, with routes between major cities such as New York, Houston, Denver, Las Vegas, and Nashville.

Introduced as part of the 737NG, or Next-Generation family of aircraft, the 737-900ER is an extended range model Boeing’s successful design. Fitted with up to 220 seats, it features a narrow-body twin-engine configuration for short to medium range routes. Powered by two CFM International CFM-56 engines, it can cruise at 525 mph for up to 2,810 miles non-stop. Rated with a maximum flight level of 410, or 41,000 ft, the aircraft could weigh as much as 187,000 lbs. Still performing duties for operators around the world, Boeing’s venerable 737 platform continues to meet and exceed customer expectations, providing cost-effective travel for those in need.
