Widely recognized as one of the best aircraft of its era, the Boeing 757 was a narrow-body, twin engine jetliner with an advanced “supercritical” wing, powerful engines, and large onboard capacity. Serving as both a freighter and a passenger jet, the type has seen extensive service by several operators, including FedEx, United, and Delta Airlines. Across a decade of production in the late 20th century, 1050 were made, with over 600 still remaining in service by 2020. Operating since 1984, the type has become one of the favorites for both pilots and passengers alike, as they became more prolific through the 1990s. This specific one was received early in 1993 and is registered N683DA, last seen sporting the “Onward and Upward” modern livery.
