Measuring 12.5”l with a 12.5” wingspan at 1:200 scale, this die-cast model features an authentic paint scheme, etched panel lines, and pad printed decals. Configurable with retracted or deployed landing gear and display stand, it arrives fully built and painted.
First flying in 2017 and being introduced over the years following, the Airbus A330neo is a modern day wide-body airliner that takes aim at other successful manufacturers. It was designed to fill the gap that was left by the Boeing 787 and Airbus A350 in the 250-300 seat category, undercutting their design and reducing costs for airlines.
Up to 300 passengers can be seated in the A330-900 variant in three-class configuration or up to 460 maximum, with a crew of two in the cockpit. Powering the aircraft is a pair of efficient Rolls-Royce Trent 7000-72 engines which create around 125,000 lbs combined thrust on takeoff. Altitude ceiling of the jet is 41,000 ft, with a top speed of 571 mph and a maximum weight of 553,000 lbs.
This replication of the A330-900neo is finished in a Delta Air Lines paint scheme, the largest operator of the A330 type since deliveries begun around 2019. Delta operates 25 of the 115 manufactured so far by the end of 2023, a number expected to rise in the coming years.
