  • Precisely engraved panel lines and miniature antennas
  • Deployed or retracted landing gear with rolling wheels and metal display stand to show the model in flight
  • Measures 15”l with a 16” wingspan at 1:200 scale
  • Made to commemorate Emirates Airways
  • Highly collectable and officially licensed model

History and Specifications:
Carrying up to 853 passengers across two levels, the first Airbus A380s saw delivery in October of 2007 to Singapore Airlines. Boasting up to 9,200 miles of range, this mammoth airliner features four Rolls Royce Trent 970 engines, creating a combined 312,000+ lbs of thrust on takeoff. Reaching 43,000ft of altitude and top speeds over 560mph, it can weigh up to 1.2-million-pounds fully loaded. Though times have changed, favoring lightweight and efficient aircraft, the A380 remains in service with a select few operators, such as Emirates, British Airways, and Quantas to fill the international routes. One of the most highly celebrated aircraft, it remains the largest operational passenger aircraft.
