Arriving in 2009 at RAF Mount Pleasant, Eurofighter Typhoon FGR4s were deployed to the Falklands in defense of the Falkland Islands, South Sandwich Islands, and South Georgia. Participating as a unit of four, each twin-engine 4th-generation aircraft is heavily armed and maneuverable. Performing Quick-Reaction-Alert (QRA) duties from RAF Lossiemouth Air Base, ZK301C/D remains in active duty during the 2020s. Replicated in die-cast form, this model features realistic panel lines, antennas, interchangeable extended/retracted landing gear, authentic detachable ordnance, and display stand. Measures 8”l with a 6” wingspan at 1:72 scale.
