Exterior Cleaning Kit

This comprehensive Kit is all you need for a season’s worth of cleaning. Includes one quart of Carbon-X for debugging and degreasing trouble spots, one quart of Fleet Wash for cleaning the entire airplane, one quart of Poly-Glide Polish to leave a protective coating, a box of Dupont™ Aerospace Wipes and two trigger spray bottles for easy application. Ground shipment only.

Carbon-X Stain Remover
Spot clean bugs, exhaust stains, and caked on grease Removes exhaust deposits, fuel stains, oil and grease from the underside of fuselage, engine cowlings, wheel wells, etc. Dilutes 20 to 1; just spray on, let soak, then rinse clean—scrubbing is not necessary. Pleasantly scented and stainless, it leaves no oily film or residue.

Fleet Wash
Perfect for cleaning the entire aircraft Highly concentrated and effective, Fleet Wash leaves a wax-like finish. Contains a special blend of detergents that causes water to literally sheet away, minimizing spotting and the need to hand-dry. This high-foaming, water-soluble detergent is safe for use on all aircraft finishes, rubber and Plexiglas®.

Protect Poly-Glide is a revolutionary polish especially designed for the aircraft industry. Formulated to protect your aircraft’s exterior finish and reduce drag, it even makes future cleaning easier.

DuPont™ Aerospace Wipes
Specifically made for the aviation industry, DuPont™ Sontara® Aerospace Wipes are perfect for cleaning and maintaining your airplane. Manufactured in an ultra-clean spun lacing process, these wipes contain no glues and leave virtually no lint. These tough wipes measure 9” x 16 1/2” and are packaged in a pop-up box of 100 wipes.

Consistently clean, exceptionally absorbent
Every DuPont™ Sontara® aerospace grade wipe is clean right out of the box. In contrast, rental towels can still contain chemical residue, stains, and metal shavings after laundering. Rags made from used clothing are often stained and lack the absorbency and other characteristics needed for critical cleaning.
