Beautiful touchscreen display

The first thing you notice about the D2 Air is the beautiful AMOLED touchscreen—it’s bright and colorful, even in direct sun, but the 45mm Gorilla Glass 3 lens and stainless steel bezel mean it’s tough enough for daily use. The touchscreen interface is easy to use and reduces button pushing, something you’ll appreciate in the cockpit. The screen can even be set to remain on full-time, so you don’t have to raise your wrist to get important updates.

An integrated flashlight that is capable of illuminating your panel with both white and red LEDs with one press of a button. 

Built-in pulse oximeter

This watch is packed with sensors, including a built-in pulse oximeter to track your blood oxygen saturation. You can check to see whether you need supplemental oxygen in flight or see how you’re sleeping, without cumbersome fingertip monitors. Pilots can also access the health stats menu to track their heart rate, pulse ox, respiration, Body Battery and more. Plus, a new Health Snapshot feature logs a two-minute window of key health stats and generates a report users can share with a health care provider.

Powerful GPS navigation

No smartwatch from Garmin would be complete without GPS, and the D2 Air X15 has all your favorite features: direct-to navigation with the built-in worldwide database, nearest airport, HSI screen, and airport information. Connect to the Garmin Pilot app to see updated weather, including METARs and TAFs. You can see current wind, ceiling, and visibility right on the main watch face.

Altimeter with vibrating alerts

Track your altitude changes or get alerts to use supplemental oxygen with the built-in altimeter. You can read current altitude or set custom alert altitudes. The watch provides vibrating alerts so you don’t even have to look at the screen.

Flight plan sharing

When connected to Garmin Pilot, it’s easy to transfer flight plans from your phone to your watch, so all devices stay in sync. Flight logging is also included, with automatic takeoff detection and wireless sync to flyGarmin.com.

Smartphone alerts

The D2 Air is great for everyday living in addition to flying. Using the free Garmin Connect app on your smartphone, the watch can automatically display alerts for incoming emails, texts, and app alerts.
