First flying in 2002, the Embraer E175LR is a modern, narrow-body jetliner for the present-day airspace. As one of the smallest in the E-jet family, it fills the role of a low capacity and short to medium range flights, where bigger craft are not necessary. Carrying up to 88 passengers with 2 crew members in the cockpit, the aircraft is powered by a pair of Pratt and Whitney PW1715G engine. Generating 30,000 lbs combined thrust on takeoff, this aircraft can reach 41,000 ft, with a top speed of 541 mph, and a maximum weight of 89,000 lbs.
Representing the University of Washington “Cougars” team, this E175LR represents Horizon Air’s commitment as WSU’s official airline travel partner, providing a sense of pride for it’s members and raising spirits. It currently operates in all the cities where the university has a campus, in Tri-Cities, Pullman, Everett, Spokane, and Vancouver/PDX. Die-Cast version has an accurate paint scheme, etched panel lines, pad-printed decals, and detailed pre-installed landing gear. Measures 3.25”l with a 3” wingspan at 1:400 scale.
