Lighted Extended Airport Windsock Frame

Welded construction, black powdercoat finish and dual ball bearings ensure long-lasting durability for these all-steel windsock frames. Extremely smooth operation allows frame to turn a full 360° in the slightest wind. Arrives fully assembled and mounts easily on a 1 1/2” pipe using a 1 1/2" x 3/4” reducer (not included). These windsock frames are common at airports throughout the country. The Extended Frames hold the windsock fully open so the sock appears to "fly" in lighter winds. Lighted Extended Frames are illuminated internally for greater visibility at night (116W bulb included). (These require 115V AC and must be hard-wired by an electrician.) Extended lighted/frames require the use of a special windsock. These windsocks will have an extra slit cut in them to slip around the light bulb.
