  • This Limited Edition Print tells the story of “Triple Ace” Bud Anderson and his April 11th, 1944 flight in his P-51 Mustang nicknamed Old Crow. Capt. Clarence "Bud" Anderson was flying west of Hanover, Germany. Anderson flew lead for "Chambers White" flight. On this escort mission, Anderson got his 2nd kill. A head-on pass with a Me-109 resulted in Anderson getting many hits on the 109's nose. Anderson stated, "I fired short bursts. I could see incendiaries bursting all over the front of the 109. The propeller flew off. The engine cowling blew off. Then off came the canopy and out came the pilot." Behind was 1st Lt. Ed Simpson flying Chambers White #3. He confirmed Anderson's victory. The print is signed by Capt. “Bud” Anderson and artists Roy Grinnell, include a Certificate of Authenticity. Measures 22”w x 17”h.
