Lufthansa Cargo Airbus A321P2F Die-Cast Model

Introduced in the late 1980s, the A321 is one of the premier offerings from Airbus for the late 20th century, intended to compete with other aircraft such as the Boeing 737 Max. It features a single aisle, a narrow body design, with two engines and room for nearly 200 passengers onboard. Capable of short and medium range flights, this formula is intended to reduce costs for airlines and allow more aircraft to be purchased. Typically fitted for 185 passengers, with a the A321 can travel up 3,700 miles non-stop, with a crew of two in the cockpit. Powered by two CFM-56 engines, the aicraft can reach an altitude ceiling of 39,800 ft, top speed of 544mph, and a maximum weight of 206,100 lbs. 

Operated by Lufthansa Cargo, this A321P2F passenger-to-freighter aircraft was converted from a traditional airliner configuration. Featuring new cargo doors, space for up to 14 pallets on the upper deck, 10 pallets on the lower deck, and removed windows, the aicraft has been streamlined for the task. Die-Cast version has an accurate paint scheme, etched panel lines, and pad-printed decals, retracted or deployed landing gear, and display stand to show the model in flight. Measures 9”l with a 7” wingspan at 1:200 scale.
