P-38 Lightning Embroidered Hat

Produced from 1941 – 1945, the P-38 Lightning featured a distinctive design featuring twin booms and a central nacelle containing the cockpit and armament. Nickname by “The Fork-tailed Devil” by its enemies the P-38 Lightning will always be a legend in the warbird community. Our P-38 Hat honors the Lightning featuring a rendering of the P-38 embroidered across the front with lightning strikes on the bill. Embroidered on one side of the Hat is the front view of the aircraft featuring its unique artillery design and on the other side is more lightning strikes. The USAF stars and bar insignia are embroidered on the back with the words “Fork-Tailed Devil “centered on the back. Includes an adjustable strap (one size fits most). Made of 100% cotton.
