Powered by the venerable Allison V-1710 engine, the P40 had 1,150 hp at its disposal, accelerating the aircraft to a top speed of 362 mph and maximum altitude of 30,000ft. Cruising speed was 235mph and range of the Warhawk was around 850 miles. Weaponry included six of the powerful M2 Browning .50 caliber machine guns, with 281 rounds of 7.62mm ammunition each.
Painted with an 80th Anniversary livery to commemorate Pearl Harbor and those who gave their lives to protect us, this Warhawk operates in memory of all who were lost. Die-Cast version features raised wing supports, panel lines, printed decals, and paint scheme that reflects the real Curtiss P40. Measures 5.5”l with a 6.25” wingspan at 1:72 scale.
