History and Specifications:
Adapted from the 20th century Su-30 Flanker-C, Sukhoi’s export model Flanker-H models are outfitted with the latest military hardware. Recognizable with massive thrust-vectoring exhaust nozzles and leading-edge canards behind the cockpit, each one is highly maneuverable. Outfitted for combined missions, an extra pylon is included at mid wing for rockets or bombs, while still carrying traditional R-77 or R-73 air-to-air missiles. Ordered to the total of 18 units, this specific aircraft is registered as M52-18 in the Royal Malaysian Air Force. Displayed proudly during the Lima 2019 Exhibition, several of their Su-30MKM aircraft flew alongside F/A-18Ds for a spectacular aerial display.
