History and Specifications:
Designed with load capacity in mind, the A400M is able to hold up to 116 troops, an entire 25-person medevac team with 66 stretchers, or 81,000 lbs of cargo in the massive interior. Boasting a huge ramp and 13ft wide entrance, it easily houses any necessary equipment for the task. Accelerated through the skies by four Europrop International TP400-D6 turbo-prop engines, it also boasts the necessary 44,000 combined horsepower across quad 8-bladed propellers, two on each wing. Together, they move the 310,000 lb aircraft up to 40,000 ft and over 485 mph, across 2,000 miles of combat range. Featured in the Turkish Air Force’s low-visibility grey camouflage, this A400M was one of the first to ever be delivered in the world, with 10 total placed in possession of the 12th Air Transport Command. Stationed from Erkilet, Kayseri, these aircraft fly out of central Anatolia for strategic air transport missions. Die-Cast replica has an authentic paint scheme, etched panel lines, pad printed decals, and detailed landing gear. Measures 4.5”l with a 4.25” wingspan at 1:400 scale.
