TWA DC-9, tail# N976Z was delivered to Ozark Air Lines in February 1968.
TWA DC-9, tail# N976Z was delivered to Ozark Air Lines in February 1968. During the 1980’s, Ozark and TWA owned over 80% of the passenger services at St. Louis Lambert International Airport, making it a major hub. Ozark then merged with TWA in 1986, and N976Z was one of 50 planes added to the TWA fleet. 76Z was ultimately withdrawn from use in May 2000 and stored at Mojave Air & Space Port until 2021. Each PlaneTag bears the color, thickness, and wear and tear from the portion of the aircraft from which it was cut and it is therefore rare to create two identical Tags. These variations and imperfections are not product flaws. They are part of the beauty of PlaneTags. Caution: Not recommended for children under 8 years of age. This product contains chemical-based paint which may cause respiratory irritation if ingested or inhaled in large quantities. Keep out of the mouth.
