Custom Tailored for Your Airplane
For years, pilots suffering from temperature extremes in their cockpits have used sheepskin seat covers to keep them incredibly comfortable during the hot summer and freezing winter months. In fact, several international airlines have made sheepskin standard equipment on their airplanes, keeping pilots cool, dry and less fatigued on long flights. Each of these covers is cut from superb quality 1" thick pelts and custom tailored to cover the entire seating area (except headrest), wrapping around the side panels and the top of the seat. Once installed, they make a handsome addition to your aircraft’s interior while protecting your seats from ordinary wear and tear as well as the fading and cracking caused by the sun.
Advantages of Natural Sheepskin
No natural or man-made fiber possesses the virtues of 100% sheepskin. Its soft, resilient fibers keep you cool and dry in summer and warm and cozy in winter. Unlike most synthetic materials, sheepskin does not conduct heat or cold so it remains at a constant temperature even after long exposure to extreme temperatures. Each hollow wool fiber absorbs up to 30% of its own weight in moisture without feeling wet—keeps you perfectly dry in hot weather.
Covers are sold in pairs and include the pilot and copilot seat. These do not include a headrest cover (sold separately). Available for the aircraft listed below. If your aircraft is not listed, please call customer service at 1 (USA) 513.735.9000. Note that some larger seats may require an additional $100 fee.
